Azita Ghanizada. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV series. She was born in Kabul, Afghanistan. Her parents moved to the US which they received asylum. The middle sister of her mother raised her in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career on television through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the most outstanding actress in the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. In the film, she played the role of Chiara. Her television credits are How I Met Your Mother Entourage Veronica Mars NUMB3RS The Wedding Bells NUMB3RS Psych and Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character for the character of Blood Shot, (2009) - based on the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in 2008 when she joined the cast for The General Hospital spin-off General Hospital. For season two of Nightshift, she played holistic specialist the Dr. Saira Bastra.
